The quest to find Brisbane’s Oldest Working Air Conditioner is now complete and Angie from Scarborough has been crowned the winner!

The competition uncovered some amazing rare finds from throughout history and while all of the entries were fascinating in their own right, Angie’s piece of vintage engineering really knocked our socks off. Not just because of its age, but because it was still working decades after its original installation.
Angie and her 3 lovely kids are now the proud owners of a brand new Mitsubishi Electric 7.1kw split system air conditioner worth $2000, and just in time for summer.
