Electrical product recall – Inflatable Spa – Night Light

Electric shock risk has led to the recall of the following electrical products. If you have purchased one of these products contact your place of purchase for a refund or replacement. Unplug and discontinue use immediately to avoid potential electrical injury.

Recalled inflatable spa
Inflatable spas issued to the winners of the Keno ‘Win a Spa’ competition have been recalled due to serious electrical safety issues. The M-Spa Lite, manufactured in China, have been the cause of 10 electrical shocks in Australia since distribution started in May 2014. The spa (going by the various names listed below) fail to insulate the live parts inside the water heating element in the pump control box presenting a risk of shock to anyone coming in contact with the control box, water or wet areas of the spa.

Inflatable spa details
The ACCC issued a warning that the spa poses a risk of electrical shock. Two near fatalities and two serious injuries have been reported from the use of the spa in Europe.

The recalled spas may be named:

• Blue Silver Cloud Inflatable Spa
• Lite Silver Cloud Outdoor Inflatable Spa
• Nest 2 Person Inflatable Spa
• Alpine Spa
• Camaro Spa
• Tuscany Spa

If you have purchased or been given any of the listed products stop using them immediately and contact the supplier for a refund or replacement.

Recalled kids animal night-lights
The night lights, imported by Gibson Importing, pose a risk of electrical shock and should be unplugged and returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. The cartoon animal table lights can be identified by the item number marked on the base of the lamp. The recalled lights are in various styles:

• Pig
• Rabbit
• Frog
• Dog
• Cat
• Panda
