Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre lighting upgrade
Australian Sports Lighting Solutions, the outdoor and sports lighting division of Fallon Solutions, recently completed a lighting upgrade at the Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre, a purpose-built training venue for athletes attending the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The sports lighting upgrade encompassed lighting for the hockey field and athletics track.
Hockey field project
The 500 lux lighting installation included the complete installation of:
- electrical reticulation
- footings
- poles
- lights
- switchboard
- irrigation pump shed
Athletics track project
A 200 lux lighting installation around the athletics track and a 100 lux installation for the grassed area with new electrical reticulation including a retro-fit to the existing poles with new lights.
