Fallon Services were engaged by Waterway Constructions and Brisbane City Council to upgrade the 22 Brisbane Ferry and City Cat Terminals lighting to comply with the Disabled Access Compliance Codes.

The Fallon team were engaged at short notice to design and install lights and poles and complete relamping and other minor works across the ferry terminals. $360,000 of work was completed through the busy Christmas and New Year periods and staff were on site through the nights and weekends to ensure minimal disruption to commuters.

The works were conducted to very high standards of workplace safety under the safety connect management system. A large percentage of work was completed whilst working on boats around the gangways and pontoons.

The works were completed in conjunction with the council and construction company as well as structural engineers, lighting engineers, marine engineers and suppliers.
