The air conditioner's nice and clean now, what should I do to ensure, from a maintenance point of view, to ensure that it stays that way?

It's important to have the aircon regularly serviced by a technician. This will ensure that your family's breathing good quality air and that the aircon's not actually blocked up by dust and bacteria.

Okay, so that's good advice. So apart from professional cleaning what other things would you recommend to make sure that it's well maintained?

Well, actually there's these two products that I can recommend. This is a mould inhibitor and the other one's the corrosion inhibitor.

Okay, so what's the benefit of these things?

[0:33] Joel

The mould inhibitor is an effective weapon to help fight mould growth. It improves indoor air quality which is especially important for anyone suffering from respiratory issues. It also cuts down on running costs.

The corrosion inhibitor acts as a sacrificial anode. It works by protecting the fins in the outdoor system.

So, they both help prolong the life of the air conditioning system?

[0:52] Joel

Yes, that's exactly it. And they also help reduce maintenance costs.
